New things I’ve tried:

Sourdough starter, then biscuits and bread.

Brandade de morue - French cod dish with potatoes.

Split pea soup.

Merguez with vegetable stew, Berber style.

Made this today with fresh spinach that was on its last day: https://www.gimmesomeoven.com/spinach-artichoke-dip/

I should have halved it, though. Delicious with tortilla chips!

I’m just going to make hamburgers today but this is so inspiring!! Maybe tomorrow I’ll try making pita bread and we can have that with some Greek style chicken, now that we have yogurt and cucumbers.

Bacon makes everything better, right?

I know this was a rhetorical question, but I’m answering anyway: yes!!! Yes it does.

Ohh, that looks so good OP! I have ground beef and I've been wondering how to use it up - so I'll try that.

I'm making Peruvian Chicken tonight

I am making this dish today.

Except I cooked the meat yesterday and refrigerated it. I am a bit leery about using uncooked meat in the stuffing now. I am using ground chicken (since that is all I have) and ground up all the spices. I'll put some shredded cheese on top at the last few minutes of broiling because my kid loves cheese. Serving it with raita spiced with some pre-made mint chutney.
