I have at least 4 hours daily stuck on endless conferences where people scream at each other and the management is scared to commit to a decision, so I just weed when I'm on a phone. It really helps with the frustration too.

This makes sense and sounds like a good stress reliever.

I have gained 2 hours a day thanks to working from home. My garden and yard are reaping the benefits.

Not OP but a lot of us are out of work or not yet but there’s nothing going on.

Between my lack of job and my kids’ lack of activities, my garden has never looked better. Being able to hack at vines/brush/weeds and nurture things that don’t whine that I’m not providing the very specific care and feeding they demanded is doing wonders for my mental health, too.

omg.. us too.. I was just saying this to my DH. We finally have time to take care of our long neglected yard. It's gonna look fabulous when this is all over. We are also getting our vegetable garden ready. We also make our kids help us, much to their disgust LOL

I’m finally tackling the ivy that grows relentlessly along my fence line. I mean really digging out the thick deep roots. I killed my back this morning but I’m seeing results! Hoping I can finish up tomorrow.

Same! I harvested asparagus for the first time (planted two years ago). The garden makes me so happy.

One positive spin on being at home is that I have been spending so much time spring cleaning and mulching my yard! I feel like every day I walk outside, my plants have literally grown at least an inch or 2 ovenight. No matter what happens in our world, nature just keeps on doing its own thing!
