I feel like one looong day for the last three weeks, the day when I cannot delegate much, have to be everything to everyone, feel guilty that I do not spend as much time with kids as they deserve during all this because I have to work, work, work...

I took the afternoon off. I told my boss I just could not do it another day (I have been deemed the COVID point person in the office and have been working 13-14 hours days for the last three weeks.) I told my husband to take the kids in the backyard. And I sat in bed and googled how to make home made ice cream and bought books on kindle...now I just need to find actual time to read them.

I should have looked up how to make vodka from potatoes. Oh but wait, then I would need to be able to get potatoes.

I’ve Got you beat by a half hour - I had to be up and 4AM today. But I’m going to be at 7:30!

MCPS had a field day of missed, rescheduled and not-working Zoom calls due to the worldwide Zoom outage. The teachers and students were super stressed. I had to diffuse. All teachers started emailing like crazy, with MUST-SEE video links, explanatory notes, PDFs, etc...

Exhausting.

It started at 4:30 am for me and I can’t go to sleep before at least 9:30.

Me, too! DC took an especially short nap today and I nearly cried.

We opted to not get dressed and had unlimited Ipad. Calling it Sunday. It helped.

I want to be asleep.

I want to be in bed with my book. This day is 72 hours long today!!!
