I don’t think you will get arrested but don’t do it! The guidelines are to only go out when necessary, and this isn’t necessary. I have done workout classes via zoom. You could try that. It’s fun and you can still do them outside if you have a yard or something.

This is what irks me about people trying to try play with a gray area/ambiguities/find loopholes with the law, attorneys especially (and I am one). The entire point of the order is stay at home unless absolutely necessary. Yes, I know social distancing, which should really be called physical distancing, feels isolating, but can you just at least try to respect the clear line between necessity and desire? I know you're desiring for some semblance of normalcy, but partaking in these types of group exercises is not an necessity. This ain't normal times babe...so please just play your role and avoid non-cohabitant contact as much as possible.

Why can't these people exercise on their own? It sounds weird and needy to me.

Also, is someone charging for this?

A group of 15 people gathering in a closed room doing yoga in someone's cozy basement is totally counter. This is nothing like that.

Legal and fine. Anyone who would report that needs better things to do with their time, like pressuring their congressperson to push for more testing, including antibody testing.

Hypothetical question. Let's say a few people (4-7, definitely less than 10) gathered outside for a mini group exercise class. They are very well spaced apart (8 feet), and outdoors. Would this be legal? An arrestable offense? Kosher?

I am not concerned with people saying to just stay home for 2+ months, but a reasonable (legal, healthy) middle ground.
