I know this isn't a popular course of action based on some other threads, but we hired one of my son's preschool teachers to help us out. I know it brings in additional exposure, but it helps us get work done. And, it helps her as she isn't getting paid by the school during this time (unfortunately). Just putting another approach out there.

I’m curious about how those parents who lost childcare due to schools and daycares shutting are coping in week 2. Have any of you hired childcare in the short term? If so, how did you find it? Any schedules where you are splitting up care with your partner working out well?
