OP again - I just took my pulse with my fingers on my wrist and it was about 80 - much lower than 98 (though I guessstill not optimum). That’s odd.

I'm 40, mine is 60. Sometimes a little lower or higher, but usually right around 60. 5'3, 130lbs.

OP here; so odd - I would say my fitness level is good. I’m 5’3” and 110 lbs (small-boned). I walk 2 miles per day on average.

I would say that's average at best, definitely not "good." That's not very far, and you don't get aerobic or cardiovascular activity which tends to improve resting heart rate.

Also - I’ve never noticed any uncomfortable physical sensation (OP here)

I used to have that too. Now I am taking med to slow it down. Feeling much better with slower rate.

Yes that's very high for a true resting heart rate.

I find My pulse is high (85-95) when Itapto check it, but my Apple Watch also gives the rate 5 or 10 min or hour prior (when I wasn’t obsessing about it) which is usually lower.

That’s high. When I was running marathons, mine was around 55. It’s in the mid-60s now. I’m 53 years old, if it matters.

Yes, it seems high. I think it may also depend on your height. I'm super petite and my heart rate is often in the 90s.

I don’t usually look at my pulse rate on my home blood pressure cuff and my doc has never expressed any concern, but I just noticed that my pulse is often 98-100. I’m 49, fairly active. Is this high?
