I don’t understand the rush to make a final graduation decision in mid March. Delay a few weeks until more is known.
I think it’s terrible some have canceled outright. Postponement is a much better option. These students deserve it especially after their time was cut short. At least leave that option open at this point.

well, since they aren't going to be spending big bucks on commencement hopefully they can reimburse families for some of their costs. So are the schools just handing over diplomas based on pre-finals grades as of the beginning of March?

I think you fail to understand why there are restrictions now, and why a vaccine (while miraculously beneficial) is not necessary for the restrictions to be lifted.

Testing, and testing kits, are far more important so that cases can be identified and quarantined. This will stop the spread.
