I am just curious PP, why the people in Spain and Italy and France are not outside? Thoughts?
This is what I wonder. My husband won't let me go outside, but I don't see how I can catch/spread it if I'm not around other people. We live in rural Mississippi now, so call me stupid, but I just don't understand the risk.
Your risk of catching this thing outside in rural Mississippi is vanishingly low. Your risk of serious complications even if you do manage to get it somehow are quite low. Your risk of depression and other mental health problems from being so stressed is quite high.

They are on lockdown. We are not.

Anonymous wrote:It's totally fine to go outside! Just avoid very crowded areas and try to keep your distance. The chances of you getting covid from passing someone several feet away for 1 second are nil. Risks go up if, for instance, you're in a throng of people clamoring to get the same angle for their cherry blossom photo.

Is the zoo grounds open? I know the zoo and museums are closed, just wondering if we can walk around or is there a gate that closes?
