How is standing in line at a fast food restaurant different from standing in line at a grocery store. I will say that people in the grocery store did keep their distance today. It took this for people to respect personal space.

Please explain why not allow this with your vast knowledge of infectious disease, needs of local residents, levels of risk, economic considerations. Oh, none of you actually have any expertise in these areas but are quick to question others.

Even China allowed food delivery during its lockdown. What are you supposed to do if you run out of food at home and for whatever reason can’t get to the grocery store right away? As this wears on, all but the best of the preppers are going to run out of supplies. Depending on the timing, one delivery meal might be just the thing that gets you through to your next grocery visit.

We need to engage in serious social distancing and stay home unless absolutely necessary. Are drive-thru or takeout "necessary"? Every action to minimize contact counts.

Why? Because America is the most capitalist of capitalist countries. The almighty dollar is more important than anything. Minimizing the impact to the economy and stock market is more important than saving lives in this country. We have seen it time and time again from slavery to cigarettes to opioids to today, America will sell it’s soul for a profit. All that other BS about people not knowing how to cook or to give people an outlet or because it has minimal risk is just that, BS. Americans are selfish and greedy AF and if it can save a buck or two who cares if it kills people. That’s why.
