Yeah. If parents lose their jobs, that’s one thing.

If they have more than one-quarter of college assets for a student actually in college in stocks and stock funds: holy moly.

If they allocated assets that way based on the advice of an advisor, maybe they should talk to a lawyer.

For most families, college expenses are a real stretch. Won’t be surprised if colleges increase their ED acceptance rates.
