Definitely 4. He's much worse than he was at 2 or 3. I also have a 6 mo but she's fairly easy, just move from point a to b to c every 10 min or so

I have a 6yo and I think it is much easier now than it would have been a few years ago. She can do schoolwork fairly independently and in a pinch is easily distractible with video games or screens.

I have a 7yo and a 10yo and so far this really isn’t hard.

This. My 7yo has access to screens but still getting bored with no siblings. We have been organizing playdates which helps some. It would be so much harder to manage if DC was younger.

No to play dates.

5 year old and 2 year old here. I bought a giant bouncy house that is currently inflated in our living room. Before I did that, it was touch and go. We’ve been home for a week.

Depends on kids' temperament, but i would guess from walking age until about 3 y.o. is worst. DS is 3.5, and it's really hard to get him to listen re: hand-washing etc. And he's already done a few dangerous things...but in general he's infinitely more rational than he was 6 mos ago. Older DD would have been a nightmare in these circumstances when she was under 3.

My extrovert kindergartener only child (6) is struggling already. She’d have been equally hard to deal with if this happened at age four or five. Before that getting my attention and playing with me or a babysitter would have been enough. The play equipment avoidance is the hardest, second hardest is no friends (she was crying yesterday because she wanted to go to school to se her friends).

Not really. A 4.5 year old is pretty self sufficient and a 6 month old can't really get around much but is usually consolidating sleep. 6 mo is kind of the easiest baby time.

I have a 2.5 and 4.5 year old. It's damn hard and will be worse when DH returns to the office on Monday. Why isn't his office closing? He works in finance, can do his entire job from home.

17 month old is going to be hard. He loves the playground, the library and his music class. It’s only been four days and he’s asking for his music teacher and the librarian who runs story time.

You can go outside - just not to playgrounds or around other people. DH took our six year old out jogging first thing this morning to burn off some energy.

I'm pretty sure everyone is going to say whatever age their kid is, but I have a 3.75 year old boy and it has been very difficult so far. I need to get him outside more, but...
