+1 But I doubt gyms will close. I work for several. I think I may get a sub for a couple weeks.

How big is your gym, OP? If it's not crowded and you wipe things down as PP suggests, it's probably okay. Crowded indoor spaces, not so much

Op here. I can stay at home and avoid everywhere else. It’s the gym that gets me.

Are any gyms closing? I know some cities are banning gatherings of people of over a certain number, but I haven’t seen anything about fitness studios or gyms. I went for a run for the first time in ages today to remind myself that outdoor exercise isn’t so bad now that it’s spring. Regretting my membership fee, though.

Can you imagine being in an icu with a ventilator for 2 weeks? It’s tough op, but these are extraordinary circumstances. It’s not normal pretending like all is normal. It’s not. People need to stop the denial and the hoarding and limit their activities.

Get ready for this new normal, possibly more than two weeks.

Can you take them to a nearby high school track and let them run around while you do laps?

I am a class person. I can’t exercise at home. I go 4-5 times a week. I can’t imagine staying home with two boys (wild animals) and not going to save my sanity if my gyms stay open. Not to mention putting on weight I cannot afford.
