Subject: Chuck E. Cheese party - would you skip right now?
I am skipping one coming up. We had the flu tear through our house and it was awful. My kids all go to school, so there’s not hiding from that one. But I’m trying to minimize our exposure now. And I consider myself pretty laid back and don’t typically worry about germs.

Tough one - probably. I don't know that I trust CEC to keep things totally clean.
When my daughter and I go (reward for dentist visits) we go at like 10:00 a.m. on a Tuesday when nobody is in there.

I do my best to skip Chuck E Cheese parties without worrying about Corona virus.

+ 1 million. Try to think of other people, not just yourself.

I feel so terrible for these kids with birthdays right now. We have one next week at a similar venue. I'm on the fence about skipping it. I'm thinking we may just go with our own disinfectant spray, wipes and sanitizer

I would only skip if I or family members felt especially vulnerable or high risk (we don't).

I'd skip. We went to a Chuck E Cheese party a month ago (first time I've been in a Chuck E Cheese in years), and I was shocked at how dirty the place was.

We were invited to a birthday party there in 2 weeks time but with coronavirus I am debating going. We are not in the high-risk group but my mother who spends a lot of time with my kids is in her mid-60s. On one hand they are a close family friend so I would feel terrible but on the other hand ...flu, caronavirus, stomach flu all come to mind...am I being over the top skipping for this reason?
