Building services doesn't have the staffing to actually clean anything - they just sweep the floors and replace bathroom products. When I used to clean the desks after school every day, I got parent complaints about chemicals, so my classroom is saturated in germs.
Also, I had to send two miserable feverish kids to the health room today -- I don't understand people sending their kids to school sick in a normal environment, but doing it now just seems crazy.
I’m OP. Last week, I sent a child to the nurse at the start of 4th pd. She returned and said she had a fever. I emailed the nurse to ask if she did indeed send a feverish child back to class and the nurse said it was a Hippa violation to tell me.
