My 2 kids had the same due date. Their birthdays are one day apart. When my older child was younger, he could not understand why his baby brother’s birthday was before his, even though he is older.

My brother and sister's bdays are two days apart. They always had separate family parties on their birthdays and separate friend parties a week apart.

My sons are 1 day apart. It's birthday season for the week of their birthdays. We celebrate as a family together for both of them, and they have separate parties with their friends. Easier for relatives to remember their birthdays because they are back to back.

I have a friend who has a boy and girl 3 years apart. They end up having huge joint bday parties.

I have cousins (a brother and sister) who shared a birthday. And bonus - it was right before Christmas! I recall that they had a joint family party on the day but that each kid got their own party with their own friends. I can’t say exactly how they felt about it as kids but they are still very close as adults and have happy and fulfilled lives.

Chances are this won’t happen but my due date is my DD’s second birthday. Wondering how others have handled the same birthday or birthdays close together.
