Wouldn’t the 10 days start once the car has been logged into the system? I doubt they would just take someone’s word that it’s been there that long.
Wouldn’t hurt to go ahead and report it. They can take a look, log it in, and have it towed if it’s still there in 10 days.

I assume you are in a RPP area? If so, the visitor pass in the windshield should have the address listed on it, and it would be better to reach out to your neighbor. No visitor pass, yes I would call the county. They will tag it and then tow it 2-3 days later if it hasn’t been moved.

We live in Arlington in an area with street parking in short supply.
A car has been parked in our street for 5 days (10 days is limit by law to park on public street) with NY plates.
Don’t recognize it, don’t see any neighbors who seem to be involved with it, wonder if someone came to DC and is storing their car on our street and took metro or even plane?
