Ours follows the federal government. I’m not sure what they will do if they go to telework/liberal leave

I have a kid starting K in the fall. If there was going to be an extended closure, I’d have to think about pulling her and piecing together coverage from there.

Why is this even a question? Of course you pay. You should have emergency savings for this. Chances are a quarantine wouldn’t last longer than a month.

Yes, you pay. You are paying for her to hold the spot for you so it's there when things reopen. Just like snow days, just like holidays.

Well there are plenty of legal immigrants who use child care themselves, who will not be able to afford paying their closed daycare when they are not getting paid.

Mine follows DCPS. We have still paid when it’s closed for things like snow but I have no idea how an extended close will go.
