Did 5 IVF cycles at 37-38. No baby. Switched to donor egg. Baby on first try!

One. DE at 49. Twins

IVF 1/FET 1 (30): success DS 1
IVF 2 (32): termination for medical reasons
FET 2: BFN
IVF 3 (33): nothing to transfer
IVF 4 (33): nothing to transfer
IVF 5 (33): miscarriage
IVF 6 (33): miscarriage
IVF 7/FET 3 (34): BFN
IVF 8/FET 4 (34): success, DS 2
FET 5 (37): miscarriage
FET 6 (37): miscarriage
FET 7 (37): TWW...

One cancelled cycle for low response at 33 years old. Cycle at 36 years old yielded my son. FET from that same cycle yielded my DD when I was 42.

3 OE cycles failed. DE worked on second transfer from the first cycle.

4 retrievals, 8 embryo transfers, many miscarriages until success. Age 27-29. Unexplained infertility.

Only took one. 35 at ER/transfer, 36 at delivery. Diagnosis unexplained. Several failed IUIs before this.

I was 37 1/2 and had terrible numbers and POV.

Took 2 egg retrievals and 3 embryo transfers, two embryos each time. Live birth of singleton on third transfer. Unexplained infertility.

At 37 I had one cycle. At 39 I had 4 before I was successful.

How many cycles of IVF did you do to have your baby/babies? Most women I've talked to said 2-3, but I'd like to hear more stories. Please include your age and TIA!
