Another idea is an outdokr scavenger hunt in conjunction with a “hike”. If you need to stretch it to two meetings, you could do one meeting as a hike prep meeting—learn the leave no trace pledge, make trail mix (and talk about what you need for hiking), and maybe even decorate sticks to use as hiking sticks (that would require some prep on your part, I think).

The apple and microsoft stores both will plan activities with GS for various of the tech badges, although you might be a little behind on that. Agree the outdoor art badge is a fun one to do and pretty easy to plan.
Other fun outings that my girls enjoyed were a tour of the local fire station and a tour of the animal welfare league. You could use the “regular” meeting to talk about the work these groups do, make thank you notes, make presents for the animals, etc.
You may also want to check with your service unit to see if they have supplies or ideas for local activities. For instance, my service unit has supplies you can borrow to do the engineering badge activities for daisies. We did the car one—we talked about concepts like aerodynamics and drag, built cars, and raced them on the floor on on planks to talk about what made cars go faster, slower, more/less stable, etc.

Even if they earned all their petals, they could have fun earning another badge. The Outdoor Art badge you could go someplace like Meadowlark or Brookfield Gardens, or even a local park. Give them art supplies to rub leaves, take digital photos of flowers, draw a range of flora and fauna. Or make a craft with things they find.

Money Counts. Visit a bank (if there is such a tour) or the US Mint downtown.

Daisy Trail Adventure. Go on a hike.

I personally am trying to start pushing our troop towards more outdoor and academic badges rather than all the artsy craftsy stuff. I mentioned these because you were trying to plan an outing.

Have they earned all their leaves? What badges have they earned? I’d start by figuring out what badge or leaf or pin they should earn and then create some fun activities for them to be able to earn it.

You can make an outline of a lizard on white paper. Then the girls look around your meeting area and decide where they want to stick their lizard with tape after they have colored it to match the background. For example, if they are going to tape it on the TV, they should probably color it grayish black. Then, once they are all finished, you have another adult come in and try to spot the camouflaged lizards. The kids can cut them out after coloring them. You could have them use the playground if weather allows. They love this.

Or, make an animal outer covering booklet. On one page have them glue part of a cotton ball and then draw a sheep. Another page gets a piece of tinfoil and that represents a scale, so draw a fish or snake. A craft feather is a bird. A piece of a brown grocery bag can be skin, like for a rhino. A new page for each, with a cover on top with their name.

Youtube has videos of Girl Scouts singing songs if you want to learn a new song.

Maybe gardening themed for the month? Paint a flower pot or the like and talk about things growing etc the first meeting, then plant something in the pots at the activity meeting or visit a garden or garden center to see what is blooming etc.

Help! I am in charge of next month's Daisy Troop meeting and activity. We generally have one meeting where we talk about something/play a game/do a craft. And then we meet a second week to do a related activity (such as pick up trash, karate class, etc.). We have already earned all our petals, so I can pretty much do anything.

Any ideas of fun topics, crafts, and activities??
