OP, I know it is really hard, but try not to focus on the betas. At this point, they aren't really giving you the info you need.
I hope you can get your ultrasound moved up. I know how difficult of a wait this can be after a loss.

I think we had two betas and then straight to ultrasound.

This may be moot at this point bc OP probably had the last blood draw but I find this blog that summarizes academic studies on specific topics related to pregnancy helpful. Get an ultrasound and a new doctor! Your beta should be followed if you have a history of an ectopic. Your beta is well over the discriminatory zone; you should be able to see an intrauterine gestational sac, yolk sac and a fetus at 6.4.

As others have said. Beta doubling time is only an indicator before 6 weeks. After that, an ultrasound should be used to determine viability. Once you're over 10,000, the doubling time slows dramatically.

My fertility specialist told me that after 5 weeks, they should go up at least 60% every 48 hours and that they slow down at 8 weeks.

Betas at that stage are pointless. After 6 weeks, you should be able to see a heartbeat on ultrasound.
Why on earth is your doctor still running betas?

+1. It’s unusual to continue to do betas after about 5 weeks or so. Certainly not when levels are that high. Do you have an u/s scheduled? Is this an RE or your ob?

I had 6 week 3D level come back 48,000 and some. 6 week 5D come back 61,000 and some. Dr wants me to go back for another beta tomorrow. Should I still be expecting betas to double each time or is growth enough in 48 hours? Numbers seem high so will they double infinitely or at some point just grown up. I was super happy about 48,000 at 6 weeks (last time when I miscarried it was only like 180 at 6 weeks). But now am panicking again that not doubling means impending doom.

Gosh this journey sucks and previous losses make it even harder.

I feel like so many people here have become experts on this stuff. Can anyone offer insight?
