I liked spin at the gym and bought a $700 schwinn bike. Never liked it, it became a clothes rack. I replaced it with peloton which I ride every day. They have interest free financing.

The only other thing I think might have worked is if I had bought a used version of the bike they had at Golds. At the time I thought even that was too high a price, but after riding that stupid schwinn I realized that there is a vast difference in quality. My peloton is 100% worth it. Good luck to you.

I bought a very cheap recumbent Marcy online so I wouldn't get too mad when it turned into a coat rack or got broken. Still using it and still going strong after 3 years.

There are a bunch of answers in this thread that are not Peloton. You can use any bike without the Peloton app, which was recommended above. That said, the Peloton classes are pretty awesome. The app provides strength, stretching, walking, running, yoga, meditation and cycling classes. A good number of people use the app with less expensive bikes and tread mills.

Also have the Sunny (the one with SPD clips) and I use it with the Peloton App on my phone. Purchased off Amazon. It's great - I also thought the Peloton was too expensive, since I prefer to exercise outdoors and the bike is really just a "backup" for when it gets dark early or the weather is bad. Google DIY Peloton and do some research.

It is $58 bucks a month, $98 with the subscription. Our gym was more then that so we bought the bike using the financing. It is 0% right now.

I have seen people post about the Sunny and Concept 2 on other sites that they seem to like.

What do you mean by "decent"?
