Soda and chocolate milk. THose are my go to afternoon indulgences. Also reading through a devotional based on the lives of saints.

Don't look at my phone while talking to others.
Don't look at phone during a meeting.
Don't look at my phone during a meal.
Don't look at phone while watching a TV show.
Don't check email or the internet while working/at kids events/etc.

Might be wise to give them up forever - or at least cut down -- it's a big expense with little nutritional value and tons of calories

Oh for a positive one: maybe a gratitude list, if you don’t already do that? Maybe write a card to older relatives once a week or something?

I’ve decided to give up watching TV. It’s going to be hard for me.

I always add a positive to do during Lent as well like “say a kind thing to someone every day” or do a “random act of kindness” but I can’t think of one this year. Any suggestions?
