When do you have time to yourself? When do you to bed? I go to bed around 9 pm meaning my child needs to go to bed earlier if I want any peace and quiet for a little bit.

For many parents, moving bedtime later backfires with the kid having disrupted sleep and waking up even earlier. I tried for years to get my kids to bed later hoping they would sleep in, and it never worked. They would wake up at the same time consistently, but grouchier.
