They should probably increase them - the city's budget is $15.5 billion and it is a TINY city. I don't see why they couldn't afford a good-sized force. Bring back the vice cops and get the laws changed so repeat offenders aren't back on the street tomorrow.

I've been here since the early 80s. It always seemed like warmer/nicer weather brought out the violence, idiot drivers, and generally worst in people.
