I have the Chyrser PHEV Pacifica. I love it. It's low range on pure electric (~30 miles) but functions as a hybrid once the battery is low. I am able to operate exclusively electric nearly everyday with my commute and errands but also still have a minivan that can take my family, the dog, and luggage on a vacation without worrying about range (and gets great MPG).

It just seems like that would be really tight with 4 kids. It's small inside. Also, most people don't have 90k for a car.
We have it with three kids and it's great for us, too. The third row doesn't have a ton of leg room, but it's doable (and well worth a little discomfort to be fully electric).
The Model Y should be out reasonably soon, and that's supposed to be a cheaper crossover. Something to keep an eye on.
