Last year there were two U11 teams - basically an A team and a B team - but both were pretty good. The A team did not face much competition in the SuperY league, but the B team had some great games against those same teams.

If you have money to burn, do it for the practices, not for the games. Like someone said, large pool of players for each team, so you cannot play every game.

Why? It’s the same coach as they had during the year and they do the same thing in practice as they did during the season. It’s best to get exposed to as many different coaches as you can. Some will be bad, some will be good, some will favor certain players. They will all emphasize did things and make the player more adoptable.

I could see that for the A team last year, but the B team had a totally different coach and the coaches this summer look to be different as well.

So do parents With two kids 6 years in now, I do not want to be driving to games/practices all summer long. My kids train and play in the summer, but we do not join another league in the summer.

Very mixed bag. Most of the games are non competitive with some teams being two years younger. Many clubs will replace the summer team with their top team roster for the “finals” in December.

Super Y is a money grab. Kids need time off from soccer to avoid repetitive stress injuries and overall burnout.

If you kid did not get the top team...do not do it.

Don’t buy into the money grab. Invest in personal trainings instead.

I do not know much about how they split players. but last summer they have two teams and we played against both. They are not much different I would say, may be one is slightly better, but not much.

Super Y teams all carry a large roster and rotate positions a lot. Even the same team can change a lot in the next game.

I think it was the other way around last summer(2019) on the boys side.
