1. They've inadvertently released a "tell" of some sort, which is not cool, or
2. They are having some technical issues, which doesn't bode well for how well the portal will work on Feb 22.

+1 And if they had sent it last week people would still be speculating that it would come early. They may think that sending it 3 days out would have some sort of "permanence" to it; however, there will still be kids checking and hoping it's coming on Friday.
I think it's great when schools release earlier than their anticipated date (esp when the date was decided 6 months earlier and before they knew how many apps they would receive), but it seems that releasing early has become the EXPECTATION.... people getting angry and disappointed that they are actually releasing when they said they would. No real sympathy for the school, but it seems they cannot win in this case.
