If not yet 3 by the next school year, you're usually required to be in pre-primary. There are only a few schools that will take 2yos, such as MSNV in Annandale.

Hi, looking for some recommendations for Montessori preschools for our son who will be 2.75 this fall (whether he should go into primary class, or toddler if it's available, we'll have to see!). Preferably more reasonably-priced as much as possible (under 10k?); we're not as focused on the most beautiful, luxe facility as long as its a good environment. Older kids went to a small Montessori housed in a church building and it was perfect for us. Arlington/Falls Church/Annandale/Springfield/Alexandria, we're somewhat flexible.
