Metro United is very player-centric and relatively free of parent drama.
You may want to read through some of the MU threads before heading over there...
Hardly drama free.

It's not meant to be a ranking, in any case, and there's only so much you can tell unless you're inside a club. If your child is a legitimate college prospect (apparently like every parent on this board), then check to see how many players that club sends to college. Otherwise, just look for the best fit and don't make a 30-minute drive to practice when a 10-minute drive would suffice.
Oops -- I wasn't logged in. This was me.

FPYCparent wrote:Some parent with too much free time tried to put together a relational "info map," using the aforementioned RantingSoccerDad post as a start. The overall strength of area leagues will vary by age group, once DA and ECNL are taking out of consideration. The combination of YouthSoccerRankings.us and GotSoccer.com data might offer decent picture of a team's overall performance (again, for a specific age group), but even those "metrics" can be skewed.

Newby here. What other information would you add or delete to this list (If anything)? Particularly interested in the different leagues in this area. How do you know what the level of play, is since there are so many options? We are looking at moving to NOVA (around Herndon, Reston, Sterling, or Chantilly) with high school-aged soccer players (current travel players in Midwest). TIA![]()
male or female?
closest reasonable clubs:
Herndon, Great Falls Reston, and SYA.
