I agree with PP that they need more for kids to do, like a play kitchen and other things where kids can play independently. The badlands has a huge play area for kids to run around, and it veers older. This is best for six and younger, othe than the drawing/board games area. That being said, it’s great for parents of kids that age, especially as they add more toys.

My five year old enjoyed it immensely. I thought it was much more pleasant than Badlands. Anything to avoid driving to Rockville, though.

My 4 year old loved it! Hoping it still entertains her after a few visits.

Definitely too crowded at times and I think the party room upstairs is too big and leaves not much comfortable room for the art and board games.

I went-- it's a great space, but definitely trends younger. Think let's drink coffee while meeting a few new Mom friends with our toddlers while we fret about the MSDC lottery for our three year olds.

IF anyone wants to go in on a Flight/trampoline type place in the NY Ave corridor for our older kids, I'll put in the first $100k

I think a 9 yo would be bored there. I guess it’s most geared towards ages 2-6?

9 is way too old- I think any kid over 5 would be fairly bored. It’s not like an indoor playground at all, there are a few indoor playground elements, but really just a few, and geared towards little kids.

We went today. DH described it as “lord of the flies” and I think that accurately summed up our experience. We won’t be running back.

Hoping to check it out tomorrow. We live nearby so I’m hoping there’s enough to keep my 4 year old entertained.

We went yesterday! It’s nice and bright inside, super crowded as you can imagine on opening weekend. I didn’t think there was really enough for kids to do, but my daughter (3) had a ton of fun so I think she’d vote to go back. When I saw pics online I thought there would be more to it, but it’s a big slide, a ball pit, a climbing wall, a wall you put pegs into, some little cars and skateboard things to ride around on. On the 2nd floor there is an arts and crafts and game area which was fun. We live in NW and don’t have a car so it was a bit of a trek for us and we won’t go back super frequently, but will go back at some point.
