Champions Carwash, or some other such similar service that will do an interior/extrior wash/vacuum/clean, will get the car into very good shape for about $20.

Just get a deluxe wash at your nearby car wash. It’ll be worth the twenty bucks. I wouldn’t do more than that.

I would clean it as best you can.

If you were buying a car, would you assume that the bones of it would be similar to the aesthetics? Probably.

Dealers and estimators are people too.

Getting ready to purchase a new car soon, and will be trading in my old one. (I know I can make more privately but I am not in the position to fool around with that. I need this done quickly.) My car is obviously dirty on the outside with some salt and general road dirt. Inside has some leftover leaves ground into the corners of the floor mats, sandy footprints, etc. It’s in no way filthy, the upholstery is super clean, there isn’t dirt in the nooks and crannies, etc.

Would it benefit me at all to have a detailer clean any of this, or are they looking mostly at the mechanical and body aspect of the car?
