Is the solution to this to just get up when I’m awake, even if it’s before my alarm goes off? I think I’m answering my own question . . .

Solution is to just get up when you wake up the first time and work out. You will start falling asleep earlier and after a few weeks have a different natural schedule. Although, based on your sleep time, I am guessing you work from home? If you're really not able to make the morning thing work, maybe you could try working out mid-day?

Are you writing a book? This sounds much better than having to drag yourself to an office everyday.

Who the hell gets up at 8:45! We are all at work by then! I workout in the mornings and I get up by 4 to do so. I need to be DONE with my workout by 6:15 so I wake up, drink coffee, read, then workout no later than 5:15. You are the worst lol

LOLOLOLOL, did you mean to post this on a college kid discussion board? If you think 6:45 is some kind of early wake up time, or that sleeping in until 8:45 is something moth of us can relate to, just hit snooze and keep dreaming.

I go to bed around 10-11. Wake up at 4:30 to go to the gym. I work out about and hr and shower and get ready at the gym. Im home by 7 when my husband needs to leave for work and in time to get kids ready for school and out the door.

Sometimes I set two alarms.

I wake at 5 to work out, and generally go to bed around 930/10 and read for a little while. I wake naturally between 530 and just after 6 on the weekend, regardless of the time I went to bed.

DH wakes in the morning at 5:30 to get to a 6:00 yoga sculpt class. He showers there and is home by 7:20 in time to help with the morning routines and see the kids out the door for school.

I prefer to work out at night when I don't have a deadline to be out the door (like I do in the morning). I'll sometimes work out when I get home at 5:30 or sometimes an hour after dinner.

Kids are young teenagers and are mostly independent with homework and routines, so that helps.

Better question is what time do YOU go to bed that you can't get up until 8:45?

Yes, if you want to work out in the morning you need to wake up early enough to do it before your other daily obligations. I do not understand your question.

Is this a joke? My alarm goes off at 4:30 So i can get up and get to the gym by 5 am. I have zero sympathy if you can't drag yourself out of bed by 6:45.

Do you have kids or a job? I work out in the morning after I drop my kids at school. I have no problem naturally waking at 6:45. I got to sleep around 10:45.

Huh? Do you work? Do you have kids? You go back to sleep for two hours past your 6:45 alarm and the workout before going to work??? I can’t relate. We are all on our way out of the house by 6:45, and that includes walking the dog and getting a quick workout in.

What time do you go to bed? I keep setting my alarm for 6:45 - I usually am awake even a little before then, but then close my eyes and sleep for another two hours.

Is the solution to this to just get up when I’m awake, even if it’s before my alarm goes off? I think I’m answering my own question . . .
