GE kids need to be very organized because they regularly miss school for field trips. If DD isn’t comfortable making up work, it’s also not the right fit.
The school is trying to up the research component to raise the level of rigor.

Student environment, nothing like RM. Base population is quite insular. Conservative leaning in not a good way.
College acceptances are not awesome from there and kids are not as prepared.
Poolesville HS is #1 in MD
They have no problem with college acceptance.
Most magnet kids get full ride at UMCP.
