Sorry, but to all intents and purposes, it's zero. Having regular periods at that age means nothing, it's very likely there are no viable eggs.

OP, talk with your gyn. I got an IUD at 48 (the Mirena kind, which lasts for 5 years). I'm planning to remove it at 53 and, hopefully, be in menopause by that time.

If you are having a regular period, you can get pregnant.
Have a friend who just had an oops at 45. I am in menopause at 45.

Agreed. Your chronological age and biological age are not always the same. No matter how many Debbie and Dougie downers tell you your eggs are done. Follow you gut. Don't give up hope until YOU decide to.

I just got pregnant naturally at 46 and a half, after two IVF kids! So late pregnancy is definitely possible. It's rare but it does happen.

You can still get pregnant. Carrying to term is unlikely.

Keep doing BC. Women’s fertility is very variable.

I know women who have gotten pregnant in their late 40s. They also went on to have late menopauses. Sadly, those pregnancies ended in miscarriage. Several were twins, too, which can happen when you are older. The ovary releases two eggs more often as you age.

Talk to your gynecologist. Yes, there’s a slim chance and unless you’re prepared to figure out what you want to do if that happens, it would be easier to avoid getting pregnant.

I don’t think this is really the right forum, but can’t figure out which one might be more apropos. I’m almost 50, but still have regular 28 day cycles. Realistically, what are the chances I could end up pregnant? We don’t really use anything, because we did 3 years of IVF several years back to have our second kid, and I assume there are no viable eggs left in there, but I do worry that because my cycle is still so regular that there could be a random pregnancy in there. Am I being paranoid?
