Lands End makes Iron Knee leggings, which have reinforced knees, and I find they last longer.

oh my gosh I had the same experience. I ordered a yellow pair and first of all they were see through and you could see my son's diaper right through, so thin and were such a poor fit on my son who is shorter and wider -- I figured they weren't the best fit for his body type but was also just surprised to hear so many raves since the material didn't feel that great to me. Maybe the material was just too stretched on my son's body type.

I also really like June and January leggings - they have held up really well but can be annoying to buy because they do small batches so I feel like colors are constantly out. I want to email them and be like no working parents have time to follow your batches coming out at 10pmest and selling out so quickly. I just want to be able to order pants when I have 5 minutes at work! sorry that was quite the sidebar...

NP. My DD Is 5, but wears an 8 in Primary. She's big for her age, but is both tall and "wide". So we just order up a size, and it works. For example, she wore an 8/9 long sleeve t-shirt from Primary yesterday and it fit pretty well- she has a long torso and needs the length in the larger sizes. HA is great though, but she only have pajamas from there, which are fabulous. Those HA pjs are a 7, and they fit perfectly.

I missed gymboree too. I found some nice cozy leggings at Eddie Bauer online for $10 on sale. My kids said it felt very warm and cozy. The leggings had a plush lining on the inside. Same with Gap factory outlet online. $10 when on sale and kids liked those too.

Unfortunately, they did not have very many patterns or color choices. Mostly basic colors.

My kids are teenagers now and I have such fond memories of Gymboree.
I didn't know that my mom kept at a lot of DD's clothes and we're now passing them down to my 3 year old niece.
I got so nostalgic packing up the clothes to mail. Such cute details on the clothes and they were so matchy.

I think Hanna Andersson has good leggings.

I miss them too. I found fleece leggings at Old Navy. Might be harder this late in the season. Try Carters and Osh Kosh also.

Children’s Place bought the brand and is supposed to do a relaunch.

Gymboree is supposed to be relaunched this year by the company that bought them.

2yo DD has been wearing her Gymboree fleece leggings all winter.. She is beginning to outgrow them. I just miss their store for all 3 of my kids clothes.

Where can I buy similar thick leggings she can wear outside to play?
