My DW is constantly on Twitter and Instagram. I think she would have withdrawn sickness if she stops. Doesn’t matter time of day or night or what we are doing. Is there any difference??

This is a relationship issue not a gaming issue. My partner truly loves gaming - actually played E-sports (? I know nothing about the gaming world) for money when he was younger. He plays online with his childhood friends regularly. That said he has never in over two years neglected or ignored me in favor of gaming or messing around on his phone. If anything I am more guilty of phone addiction and yes it can be a total relationship killer!

It’s an addiction just like anything. Instead of being an unhealthy addiction like cigarettes or drinking, it simply ruins relationships. There’s a ton of research on this very common issue, just Google it. Have him get help before it ruins your relationship or future.

Yeah. It is lonely. And when he gets sucked into a game it’s like 15 minutes before he can stop and do anything else.

Actually, when we got married he owned several but never played them. This didn’t happen until we moved to a quieter part of the city and then had a kid and just lead a tamer life.
