Physics? “Electrical sockets are dangerous and not a toy” is a lesson that PARENTS should be teaching their 2-year-old, along with not touching the stove and not running into the streets. Not the school’s job to teach every single basic life skill because you couldn’t be bothered.

I remember when I was young, I was given the job of plugging in all of the Christmas candles in the windows. I got shocked once doing it and I'll never forget it. Lesson learned that you need to be careful. Maybe the PP is right that parents no longer teach kids to be careful since they just cover it up.

Ostroskey said in the memo that his office has already received reports of two instances of teens trying to recreate a stunt that involves partially inserting a cell phone charger into an outlet and then sliding a penny down the wall onto the plug’s exposed prongs.
