^ yes. I presumed it had something to do with Hollywood because she is supposed to be a screenwriter.

Have you noticed she wears something with stars on it every episode?

I tried watching this last night and I’m not sure I can continue. Yes, she’s funny and the husband is adorable, but after awhile I just want her to shut up. Too much talking. Funny but exhausting.

+1, their marriage is what I dreamed of for myself. They have such a cute relationship.

I loved it. I especially loved her single writing friend in the first season (Kyle?). Why didn't they keep him?

It can be very funny, but the actress distractingly overacts and shouts everything. It’s just so exaggerated and I find myself paying more attention to how odd her acting is vs just watching and enjoying it.

She reminds me a lot of Larry David except less of an @sshole, which I like. I like that in general she is trying to be a good person / mother / etc., she is just kind of funny and blunt. Compared to Larry David who makes a whole schtick out of being awful to people, which I hate.

I do agree with you that she can be a little exhausting sometimes. I actually don't like the binge the show for that reason - I like it better in 1-2 episode increments.

Yes! Agree with this! For those who find her exhausting, don’t watch more than 2 episodes at a time. Love the show ... in small doses.

I just finished season 1 - it breezed by.
