Shady grove sends my meds to freedom pharmacy, and they seem to be a lot cheaper when I looked at the goodrx prices.

My nurse told me I could get generic estrogen patch (Estradiol 0.1mg/day Patch) instead of Vivelle Dot. It didn’t count as infertility drug and my insurance (CVS Caremark) covered it 100%. Even if insurance doesn’t cover it, cash price for a box (4 patches in a box) is less than $40 at local CVS.

Thoughts?

FWIW our local specialty pharmacy is Walgreens. Their uninsured prices are:

Lupron: $559
Vivielle Dot: $1383 for 64 patches
Endometrin: $439/3 boxes

I'm curious too. I'm using GoodRx through Walgreens and if I get Estradiol patches instead of Vivelle Dot, then I can get 24 for just shy of 1K. So your pricing is even better than what I am getting at Walgreens.

Winfertityrx , but you have to order at least two drugs at one time.
Mdr I think has cheaper endometrin.
Can you substitute a generic estrogen for vivelle? I don't have fertility coverage but my insurance covers generic estrogen
