I think a lot of kids plan on transferring in middle school and if a spot opens mid year they take it because they planned on leaving the following fall anyways

Are the families staying in the area? If yes - something is wrong.

+1 There must be some major problems to leave mid-year

I don’t think anyone would leave mid-year because of too much homework. Doesn’t make sense.

I think it's a Catholic school thing...my daughter also had a lot of homework at that age and now. Too much in my opinion, but I would rather have that than what is happening in public school.

This crazy talk. I’ve never heard of this happening any where else. Clearly something is terribly wrong at bss.

You have never heard of someone leaving a school mid-year??? Never heard of someone move towns?

As a family who transferred in mid year (and we weren’t the only ones) it isn’t that uncommon to have movement mid year.

Yes, just send an email to the Assustant Proncipal posing this question. And just see what she says.

Ha! OP here. I’m aware of two 5th grade girls. I’ve heard rumors of boys, but no direct knowledge.

It's because the parents failed to buy a Yukon and have the requisite amount of Vineyard Vines wear by a certain deadline.

Hmm what great mid year? Boys and girls leaving? That’s a little surprising because we’ve been happy there as well as our friends who’s children attend, but ours are young. Are these middle schoolers?
