We use a timer like this now for reading time and instrument practice. Super easy to set since it's not a clock:

I actually really love this sort of analog little clock you shared. The Countdown timer.
I love the animal faceplate!!! It’s adorable.
I believe I’ll get two for now. One for each of my younger kids. I may do quiet time while the older is at school anyway / she can wait for a clock another day.
