We bought our strollers and car seats form them. They were great. Sorry to hear what happened.

Bummer. That happened with the first car seat I purchased there (said it was back ordered) and finally after 6 months gave me a credit (the baby was in a bucket seat until then and I used the credit for a different seat). I’ve found the, helpful. But NOT the woman. I only deal with the man. He is great, the woman is rude and nasty every time I’ve been in. And I’ve bought 6 strollers there.

Even for small claims court, you would need to be able to find them to sue them.

This is the link to file a consumer complaint in FFX, but if you search the complaint history, you’ll find 2 complaints against BB that have been closed as of 1/13/2020 because the store is closed and owners can’t be found. At this point I think you’re out of luck.

I’m having deja vu. This happened with a baby store in Reston or Ashburn or something. They cLosed abruptly and everyone with open orders lost their money.

Op, have you physically gone to the store? I know you said you don't live in Fairfax but if you take them to court you are going to have to come to town anyway. I feel like this can be resolved in person. They can't ignore you in person.

I'd find a lawyer to draft a letter to them asap.

Well, I would take it to social media and yelp for one thing. That is probably more effective than any government agency.

I had posted a vent about the Baby Blossom store being pretty much a scam as I had ordered & paid for an expensive car seat from them in June and have yet to receive it 7 months later. I have emailed, called & gone in repeatedly. I simply wanted either the car seat or a refund. They basically lied every time and don’t answer calls or return emails. Posters suggested I contact BBB, so I went through that process and BBB was never able to get any type of reply. I am kicking myself for not seeing that the store already had an F rating! I also filed a complaint w/ Amex and was told there are several against baby blossom, but because I was past a certain amount of time from date of purchase, I couldn’t get a credit from Amex. It finally occurred to me to go to the vendor to see if Baby Blossom had ever actually received the car seat from them. Well it turns out Baby Blossom has never been a retailer for that brand, has never placed an order and does not even have an account or ability to do so! The vendor was fabulous and also livid.

At this point, aside from going to small claims court, I am just trying to find the right contact in fairfax govt or licensing to lodge a complaint. It’s more a matter of principle at this point, as baby blossom clearly thinks they can just keep several hundred dollars without recourse. I don’t live in fairfax or even fairfax county and couldn’t find an appropriate contact on their website. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
