A friend of mine had a friend who was due around the same time as me, and she decided to create a group herself. I found out through my friend, and she posted on the local listservs about starting a group. It was very laid back, and everyone was very nice. It faded away after 6-9 months, but that may have been because I didn't really click with anyone there so I didn't follow up on more individual meetups. All that to say: maybe try starting your own group! We met at different people's houses, threw blankets on the floor, put the babies on them and chatted.

Any perspectives on lemon tree for second time moms?

Following. Especially looking for options with short maternity leave compared to many peopme in this area (apparently). Looked into PACE but by the time it would start I'd likely be almost back at work.

I just completed a PACE “Second Time Around” group and I recommend it highly. It was very tailored towards the second-time experience! Contact them through their website for scheduling inquiries. My group was great, good timing and relatively near where I live.

Pace has a second time moms group!

I am pregnant with my second child, and loved PACE while I was on maternity leave with my first. Can anyone recommend some other good moms groups that meet in NWDC? Since PACE is focused so much on first-time moms, I'd like to try something different. Thanks!
