This happened to me before my last IVF cycle and I was concerned (my e2 was 93 when it had never been over 50 the prior two months). The RE had no explanation and I couldn't find anything online. The next cycle it was back down to the 40s, so it seems like it was just a fluke. The main concern with high e2 is that it can sometimes artificially suppress FSH, so you should check and see what your FSH was on CD3.

Do you have DOR? I have a friend that had FET cycles cancelled due to high estrogen and her wacky hormones are related to her DOR. She gets decently good results on stims for DOR, but her hormones are a mess and egg quality is poor.

Every time I had elevated estrogen during treatment cycles, it was due to an ovarian cyst. I have PCOS.
The tech doing my ultrasound said I didn’t.

Hi. I just received my day 3 results for IUI and was told my estrogen is too high (107) and we may not be able to proceed this cycle( it’s out third IUI attempt). I go back tomorrow for repeat bloodwork. The nurse said she didn’t know why estrogen would be high. Has anyone experienced this and know why estrogen levels might be high? Thanks!
