Georgetown had one when I went there. I got jobs from there.

I found all my babysitting jobs on GW’s job board when I was in college. It was called GWork back then and I just looked it up and it appears it was replaced by Handshake. Not sure if it’s still used for things like babysitting jobs but it might be worth attempting to create an employer profile to see if there is an appropriate category for a family/parent looking to hire a sitter.

(I will say that unless GW students have changed there are very few interested in working anything other than resume building internships. My peers were always shocked that I needed money and had babysitting gigs after classes and unpaid internships. I think AU kids are a bit more down to earth but choose a school based on proximity to your house for best results.)

Not OP but would also love to know if any of the local colleges like Montgomery College have a place to advertise for baby sitters

ISO a new regular babysitter for occasional work (like 1x month date night), and wondering if we could build a thread with links to jobs boards at local colleges where there might be folks looking for this kind of work.

Or if you've found a good sitter -- where did you find them?
