Broke people say this just to make themselves feel better. It's not true. All the verifiably wealthy people we know drive, at worst, brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee ($50K) or Volvo XC90 ($55K) or Tesla Model 3 ($60K) or Audi Q7 ($65K). They're wouldn't be caught dead in a decade old Toyota s***box worth less than 10 grand.Anonymous wrote:OP, we have old cars so I get it. Lots of people in snowy areas own a Snow Queen they call it. A beater car for driving in the winter months - salt on the roads and greater likelihood of mishaps. The nicer car is left in the garage.
