I'm sure you're both disappointed but your job as the parent is to help him navigate life's disappointments, not corroborate an "it's not fair!!" attitude (which is totally normal for a bummed out 8th grader. An adult, not so much).

Was the home school ranked #2? You can try again for your first choice in Round 2.
