Just to confirm, sis, your family loved the gingerbread sticky toffee pudding but you should post the orange cheesecake recipe because it is unlike all other cheesecake recipes and somehow manages to be some sublime mix of orange mousse and cheesecake!!! And getting a bit of the pudding and the cheesecake on the same fork was definitely larger than the sum of its parts.

She said sharp cheddar, pistachios, apples with a mustard vinaigrette. I did it over mixed greens and added roasted squash.

The lady asking to critique her menu for DH's CEO dinner said she was making a salad that sounded good, so I made it for dinner 2 nights ago and my DH asked me what inspired this combo of ingredients ha. I couldn't bring myself to admit DCUM. He asked for it to go into dinner rotation, though!

ha, that was me! Glad you enjoyed it! Ironically I was just thinking to myself it's time to retire it and I had the thought to move on to a cheesecake.

The NYT chicken shawarma, which everybody on here raves about. Result: delicious! It's become a regular in our dinner rotation. I like adding canned chickpeas to the baking pan along with the chicken, onions, and garlic. DH and DS, 16 months, can't get enough of it either.
