When I lived in New Jersey we would go to this Malaysian restaurant that served a heavenly dish called kari sayur. I still drool thinking about it 16 years later.

I just googled it! Looks great. Does Thai cuisine use dairy in their sauces, do you know? One of my favorite dishes I recently discovered is from Noodles and Co. Pad Thai!

It's usually coconut milk!

Gado gado -- a delicious, satisfying dish that is vegetarian and high protein. (My family is from Indonesia.)

Thanks so much for sharing! Looks delicious. Your link says prawn chips are in it? I actually don't care if it has prawns, and it has given me a great idea for a salad, as I am trying to eat less meat!

Do you have that one dish that you ate in a restaurant that blew you away? Or if you are from another country a dish/food you think everyone should try at least once? Dish that you think is world worthy but few people here know about? Do you mind sharing it with me? Thanks!
For me, it used to be Vietnamese fried pork rolls eaten with lettuce and pickled carrots. As I am from Europe this was nothing I ever knew about until FIL introduced me to it!
