Remember though that these things are much more important than the plates:
-Good, very dim lighting. Multiple sources from multiple heights, all very dim
-comfortable seating
-full, accessible glasses
-the right utensils (eg easy to serve/cut/eat food)
-a lot of yummy food
-great wine
-good soundtrack
-flowers, plants or rando branches cut from your yard
